[ Music ] ^M00:00:07 >> The Nissan's pretty proud of the work they've done in compact crossovers. Here is what they say will be the third chapter of that. This is called the Juke. Interesting shapes on this. From what they say are Z inspired tail lights to kind of pronounced rump that sticks out. Very strongly flared fenders and of course extremely high lined fender topping headlights. That's very much a trend these days on cars. But inside we're talking about the most compact of any crossover that Nissan is gonna put on the market. Now let's talk about engine choices for a bit. The one that I'm most excited to see come to the US should it do so, a number of engine choices are coming down the pipe, the one we're most likely to get 1.6 liter turbo direct injected gas engine. That's nice stuff: 188 horsepower, 178 foot pounds of torque. Again that's fairly premium equipment and output numbers. Expect it to be hooked up to a front wheel drive with a 6 speed manual or an all wheel drive with a CVT. They're also talking about delighting us on the interior. Inside look at that center console. They say it's inspired by the gas tank of a motorcycle. I'm not sure what the connection is but it's definitely different. Moving past that gas tank thing you'll find door arm rests they say are cheap like a scuba divers flippers. Ok and notice the information display right high on top of the center stack. That's gonna be a very standard piece of this car in just about every configuration we understand. Again not knowing how it'll arrive at the US market at this point. But giving you all kinds of not just the standard information like odometer and trip and that sort of thing but mode controls from the HVAC to the driving mode which could be sports, it could be eco, it could be a standard mode and all kinds of parameters you can access through that. Things you don't normally find on a low cost compact crossover. You'll also see that the steering wheel is also very current Z so they're trying to bring in a lot of different cues from their other more upscale cars and do so in a sporting nature. You're not likely to confuse this car for the ones it competes with. [ Background music ] Some interesting front end details for better or for worse. Pricing again for the US isn't set either but this is a car they'll sell in the Asian market, European market, United States as well so they're gonna push this guy out all over the world. We'll keep an eye on it and see when it does arrive in US trim. This is the Nissan Juke.
