One of the most exciting innovations for cars will be super-thin OLED displays. Visteon showed this example at CES 2018 in Las Vegas, which could go into a production car in about two years.

This OLED display is very thin, so takes up little real estate in a car's dashboard, doesn't use much power, and shows bright, vibrant colors.

Visteon showed this 4K dashboard display concept as an example for advanced driver assist systems. In this mode, it has displays for side-view cameras, and a representation of what the car's sensors see out front.

In this mode, Visteon assumes the driver switched the car to self-driving mode, so you can sit back and watch a movie. The main 4K screen shows a rich, crisp picture.

On a slightly more conventional front, Visteon showed off its LCD instrument panels that are available for production cars now. This 12.3-inch LCD shows virtual gauges and forward sensor information.

As an LCD, Visteon can change the display on the fly for different driver preferences or driving situations. Here it shows more of a sport display with what's playing on the stereo.

Visteon offers this smaller, 10-inch display, which of course can show similar information as the larger LCD.

Again, the display can shift to show different information.

Visteon's smallest offering on display at CES, this 7-inch display, can go in both less expensive and physically smaller cars.
