Updated 2018 Ford Fiesta ST goes with a turbo three-cylinder
Ford's pint-size Fiesta ST hot hatchback gets a new turbocharged three-cylinder heart, a drive mode controller and addition styling options for the 2018 model year.
The Fiesta ST will be the first Ford Performance model to feature a turbocharged three-cylinder engine.
A new Drive Mode controller will offer three settings including Normal, Sport and Track.
Each Drive Mode setting will adjust the Fiesta ST's engine, steering and stability control tuning.
In addition, the Drive Mode system will control the active exhaust system and electronic sound-enhancement system.
In Europe, the Fiesta ST will continue to be offered in three- and five-door body styles.
A larger range of personalization options will include more gear shifter, steering wheel, door pull and dashboard trim choices.
The interior will also feature Recaro seats.
For infotainment, the Fiesta ST will have the Sync 3 system that's capable of running both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
