FRANKFURT -- The aggressively styled C-HR may be just what Toyota needs to resonate with today's younger, style-conscious small crossover utility vehicle (CUV) buyers.

Those huge C-pillars point to a priority of style over visibility.

The C-HR Concept's wheels are oversized, as is typical of concept cars.

Despite being small, the C-HR's mug possesses a level of aggression far beyond its size.

Toyota apparently deemed a C-HR with two doors to be too impractical to sell, so this updated version has four doors.

The C-HR Concept has incredible depth to its characterful body panels.

Expect the production C-HR to have a slightly more upright rear window, if only to eke out a bit more cargo space and rear-seat headroom.

With the small CUV segment growing by leaps and bounds, Toyota needs something like the C-HR in its showrooms as soon as possible.
