This McLaren F1 has only 2,800 miles on the odometer, and it's for sale (pictures)
Now's your chance to own a piece of history nearly exactly as it came out of the factory.
Car collectors beware -- this one is here to steal your heart and all your cash.
This McLaren F1 has chassis No. 069, and it's only one of six F1s to be completed in 1998.
No. 069 is the 60th model to be hand-built at Macca's factory in Woking, England.
It's being sold by McLaren Special Operations on behalf of a private customer.
The car sports a black-on-black motif, save for some splashes of red leather and the requisite gold foil in the engine bay.
We're not sure how much it costs, because the price is only being offered upon application.
That said, another F1 with some tweaks and higher mileage recently sold for $13.75 million.
Do they offer 100-year loans for pieces of automotive history?
You'll also receive fitted luggage, a titanium toolkit with toolbox, all of its books and a limited-edition owner's watch with your purchase.
I hope the person that buys this actually takes it out and enjoys it like McLaren intended.
