The Shelby GTE is a decent way to spend $18,000 on your Mustang

If you own a Mustang EcoBoost or a Mustang GT, you can send your car to Shelby to get turned into a GTE.

Power upgrades are minimal -- the 310-horsepower EcoBoost jumps up to 335 horsepower, and the 435-hp GT gets bumped up to 456.

Most of the money goes toward flashy exterior and interior bits.

Outside, you get a new hood, grilles, rocker panels, spoilers, emblems and a wiper nozzle relocation kit.

Inside, you get a dash plaque, an engine badge, sill plates, headrests and floor mats.

Of course, if you have the need for speed, Shelby will cure what ails ya.

For extra money, you can add bits like a supercharger, upgraded cooling systems, beefier suspension and different rear-end gearing.

The sky's the limit -- or, rather, the depth of your wallet is the limit.

The package is available to order now, and it costs $18,000 before options.

If you can't get your car to Vegas for the upgrades, there are a number of Shelby-approved garages that can do the work, as well.
