The 2018 Mini John Cooper Works Countryman is a twee performance crossover
It's just so cute!
Look at this little guy!
OK, maybe Mini's largest model isn't exactly little, but it's still...Mini!
...I'll see myself out.
This is the John Cooper Works Countryman, a performance variant of the regular ol' Countryman.
Power comes from a 2.0-liter, turbocharged I4.
Output is rated at 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.
It'll hit 60 mph in 6.2 seconds, which is 0.8 second quicker than the Cooper S Countryman.
All-wheel drive is standard.
So are Brembo brakes, a performance suspension system and new 18-inch alloys.
You still get all the standard equipment from the regular Countryman, too, including rear parking sensors, a panoramic moonroof and keyless entry.
The JCW Countryman goes on sale in April. Keep on scrolling to check out even more pictures of Mini's latest pocket rocket.
