Massive Viziv 7 SUV concept is the biggest Subaru of all time

Subaru unveiled the Viziv 7, a seven-passenger SUV concept, at the 2016 LA Auto Show.

At 17 feet in length, the Viziv would be the largest, longest vehicle Subie's ever built if it reaches production in the current dimensions.

The concept previews a potential three-row replacement for the Tribeca, which was discontinued after the 2014 model year.

Blue LED details contrast the white LED headlamps and draw attention to the hexagonal lower grille openings.

It's a Subaru, so offering all-wheel drive is standard.

It's not just long; the Viziv also boasts a substantial 8.7 inches of ground clearance and 6-foot roof height.

At the top of the windshield we see hints that Subaru's EyeSight stereoscopic camera and driver aid technology isn't going anywhere soon.

The main headlights and taillamps use the same U-shape that we've seen on the latest generations of Subaru's production cars.

These days, even the tires on a concept car are, well, high concept. These are of a bespoke design by Bridgestone.

Subaru is for sure planning to build a new large SUV for the US market, so we can expect something of this scale from the Japanese automaker very soon.
