There are long waits for a Tesla Model 3, but these EVs let you walk right up.

The Clarity nameplate can signify any of three electrified cars, including the plug-in shown here, which sells pitifully. The fender skirts don't help.

Ford pulled the plug on the Focus Electric in 2018, the same year it basically decided to exit the car business in favor of SUVs, crossovers, and Mustangs.

The unfortunately named Smart ED is the only way you can get a Smart car in the USA: Combustion engines were abandoned in 2018. Its range has grown to 124 miles, but it remains an historically unpopular car saddled with an unpopular power source.

The Soul was nearly Kia's best selling product in 2018, with 105,000 sold, but the electric version only accounted for about 1,100 of those. The 2020 model brings relief with a battery twice the current size.
