An upgraded 2016 Nissan Sentra (pictures)

The 2016 Nissan Sentra gets a midcycle refresh with some new design elements and safety features.

I love two-seater, RWD convertibles and own a 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata for pavement fun and a lifted 2001 Miata for pre-running. I race air-cooled Volkswagens in desert races like the Mint 400 and the Baja 1000. I have won the Rebelle Rally, seven-day navigational challenge, twice and I am the only driver to compete in an EV, the Rivian R1T.

The 2016 Nissan Sentra has been selling just fine, but in order to keep up with the competition, Nissan gave it a midcycle face lift.

Everything from the A-pillar forward is new on the 2016 Nissan Sentra. The hood, fenders, and grille have all been redesigned, as well as the front fascia and signature boomerang-shaped headlamps.

A 1.8-liter engine in the Sentra produces 130 horsepower and 128 pound/feet of torque. Humble, indeed.
