An upgraded 2016 Nissan Sentra (pictures)

The 2016 Nissan Sentra has been selling just fine, but in order to keep up with the competition, Nissan gave it a midcycle face lift.

The 2016 Nissan Sentra in the SR trim line comes with a rear spoiler and LED brake lights in the familiar boomerang shape.

A new rear fascia and tweaked rear boomerang-shaped taillights bring a sleeker appearance to the rump of the Sentra.

A 1.8-liter engine in the Sentra produces 130 horsepower and 128 pound/feet of torque. Humble, indeed.

The simple design of the cabin features a 5.8-inch color touchscreen with mechanical climate controls.

Power goes to the front wheels of the 2016 Nissan Sentra through a continuously variable transmission.
