Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo in the real world
It may look like a crazy Gran Turismo concept, but this Cross Turismo is a real, working car.

This is the Porsche Mission E prototype.
Specifically, it's the Cross Turismo variant, which means it's a little taller and has a little bit more room in the back.
A little extra ground clearance might just help this car sell here in the US of A, but don't expect those chunky tires to survive on the production model.
What will survive? The charging port. This car is all electric, despite having some 600 horsepower!
The concept has this beautiful glass roof, which I can say from experience is a bit on the warm side. The production version, I'm sure, will get some tinting.
The interior is straight concept car stuff, with crazy, future-looking seats and an infotainment system that spans the entire dashboard!
Lots of room out back for cargo and dogs and all that good stuff.
And, being a Porsche, expect high performance. 0 to 62 miles per hour comes in 3.5 seconds, and Porsche said you'll be able to do that again and again and again...
I didn't get to go particularly fast, but I did get enough of a taste to be sure that the Mission E won't disappoint.
Look for these to hit the road in late 2019.
