Opel's Ampera-e is a yellow Bolt from the Paris blue
The Ampera-e is basically just a Chevrolet Bolt by another name, but damned if it doesn't look good in this shade of yellow.
The Ampera-e is named after the Opel Ampera, a Europeanized version of the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid.
This sunny shade of yellow will not be available on North America's Bolt, at least not initially.
This is perhaps the best vantage point from which to notice the Ampera-e's dramatically upswept windowline.
From the rear, the biggest change from the Ampera-e's Chevrolet version is...the Opel emblem.
The Ampera's most distinctive change from its Chevy cousin is a unique grille design. Click through for more shots from the Paris Motor Show, and some PR pics from Opel.
