Nissan's GT-R Pursuit 23 is one badass cop car

Welcome to the Nissan GT-R Pursuit 23.

It's a project car and, thankfully, not something destined for production.

It was commissioned by Nissan ahead of the 2017 New York International Auto Show.

And it is properly menacing.

The Pursuit 23 features mostly just visual customization, including a dark vinyl wrap.

Lights, of course, are everywhere, and there's a massive brushguard up front.

The wheels are... OK, not our favorites, but dig that wing!

Yeah, it's pretty hard to miss.

While the Pursuit 23 has no performance enhancements, the base GT-R is plenty quick.

The Pursuit 23 is just a one-off project car, not intended for active duty, but if you're lucky you might just catch it making the rounds in NY ahead of the show.
