MPOW Streambot Y FM Transmitter (pictures)

This inexpensive gadget connects your Bluetooth phone to your car's old FM radio.

The Streambot Y's design features two parts connected by a flexible arm.

The main part contains the radios for the FM transmitter and Bluetooth receiver.

I liked seeing metal used for the volume knob. This knob surrounds an illuminated multi-function button.

The base of the Streambot Y is where you'll find the connection for the 12-volt power point in your car's dashboard.

A 1-amp USB port allows the paired phone to charge while in use.

The two parts connect at the top of the mounting arm with a magnetic click.

The flexible arm offers a few degrees of adjustment. Care must be taken not to tug the transmitter free of the arm when moving it.

A red illuminated display shows the currently transmitting frequency.
