Mercedes-Benz All Terrain looks altogether awesome

The Mercedes-Benz All Terrain is the perfect example of an excellent car that won't make it to America's shores.
The E-Class All Terrain is set to compete with the Audi Allroad in the very, very tiny lifted-wagon segment.
The body rides high on air suspension, which can be set to one of three ride heights.
The interior packs several unique features, including aluminum-carbon trim and stainless steel sport pedals with rubber studs.
At launch, the E-Class All Terrain will come with a 194-horsepower diesel I4 engine.
The diesel engine produces 295 pound-feet of torque at 1600 rpm. Yay for low-end grunt!
The new 9G‑TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission is standard, as is all-wheel drive.
The All Terrain can motivate from 0 to 62 in about 8 seconds and has a top speed of 144 miles per hour.
Good thing it's not meant to be a rocket. No, this is the wagon you want for soft-roading to your ski chalet.
Europe will see the All Terrain in the Spring of 2017.
America will never see the All Terrain. Boo.
