Top Gear Live, a stage show version of BBC's internationally acclaimed Top Gear series, was held at Sydney's Acer Arena for the first time in Australia.

Top Gear Live, a stage show version of BBC's internationally acclaimed Top Gear series, was held at Sydney's Acer Arena for the first time in Australia.

Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond from Top Gear UK and Steve Pizzati from Top Gear Australia presented a highly entertaining show filled with stunts, special effects, hijinks and mishaps. The mysterious Stig also made an appearance and can be found in this very photo gallery.

Due to one of the many collisions during the match, one of team Australia cars needed to be repaired with blue duct tape. Australia defeated the Poms four to one; Clarkson blamed their loss on Hammond's inability "to see over the steering wheel".

The very sleek Lotus Elise S can travel from zero to 100km in 6.1 seconds. It has a maximum torque of 172Nm at 4,200rpm with a top speed of 205km/h.

This understated car is a Maserati Quattroporte, which has a 4.2-litre V8. Its top speed is 270km/h, and it can go from zero to 100km in 5.6 seconds.

Ferrari's V8-engined F430 has a 4.3-litre engine, which punches out 360kW of power and 465Nm of torque. In layman's terms, this beauty can accelerate from zero to 100km/h in four seconds flat and can reach a maximum speed in excess of 315km/h.

Maserati's GranTurismo S has a 4.7-litre V8 engine. It can go from zero to 100km in 4.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 295km/h.
