London's black cabs head to Arizona for hot-weather testing
London may never get that hot, but a little bit of overkill never hurts.
If you're going to test cars in the heat, it's tough to beat Arizona.
That might sound like overkill, but London Taxi Company has demand for its new electric black cab from all over the world.
It's running 300-mile test loops, which is roughly triple the daily mileage of your average London black cab.
Oh, look, a black cab driving down London Street. How appropriate.
Arizona isn't the only place LTC is testing its new cabs, though.
It also went to the Arctic, because, you know, it gets cold up there on occasion.
LTC's new black cabs should be hitting roads within the next couple years.
