Limited edition Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in pictures
Aston Martin is only making 100 Vantage GT3s. They're super exclusive and super cool.
Aston says the GT3 is there to bridge the gap between road and track.
It'll be harder, faster and louder than any preceeding Vantage.
It also has a giant wing.
And a chin spoiler.
It offers an aero load seven times that of a normal V12 Vantage S.
Its 6.0-litre V12 has been worked on, so it's a touch more potent.
The Vantage's interior has been fiddled with.
There's carbon fibre...everywhere.
Where there'd usually be vents in the bonnet, there's now a "swoop".
Central locking wheel nuts. Sweet.
More chin equals more downforce.
This isn't for show...
Say goodbye to the Vantage's ageing (still pretty, but old) centre stack.
Leather door pulls. Old Skool.
Power sits at 592bhp and torque tops out at 460lb ft.
Performance figures aren't finalised, but apparently 0-60mph will take 3.5 seconds.
That makes it the second fastest accelerating Aston Martin ever.
Top speed? 185mph.
Yes, that's a touch slower than the normal V12 Vantage S, but this'll be quicker around a circuit.
That's not an exhuast tip cover. It's where the pipe stops.
The GT3 can weigh up to 100kg less than the normal cars, if you spec the right options.
Want one? Give Aston Martin £250,000 ($385,000 or AU$490,000) and wait until this autumn.
