Koenigsegg CC850 Celebrates Two Important Anniversaries

The Koenigsegg CC850 hypercar celebrates Christian von Koenigsegg's 50th birthday, as well as the 20th anniversary of the CC8S' debut.

It looks pretty much like a modern CC8S.

Subtle styling tweaks make a big difference.

The CC850 has a twin-turbo V8 making 1,385 horsepower.

But the lovely interior is where the coolest feature resides.

The CC850 has a six-speed manual transmission that has a fully automatic mode with nine speeds.

It's an evolution of the Jesko's multiclutch Light Speed Transmission.

Koenigsegg says the CC850 was focused on being fun to drive.

Only 50 will be made.
