Jeep Yuntu concept brings futuristic PHEV ute to Shanghai
Boasting a plug-in hybrid drivetrain and some interesting interior concepts, the Yuntu would be a pretty cool car if Jeep seemed to have any interest in it.

The Yuntu concept is a wicked new Jeep destined to live out its days in the Chinese market, with no hopes of coming to the US.
It's likely built to help Jeep conform to China's green-car regulations.
And that's a shame, because it's actually really neat.
Its boxy, futuristic appearance would look right at home on a Cherokee or Grand Cherokee.
It looks like it would be every bit as capable as any other Jeep, too.
The inside boasts three rows and lots of screens.
And, like all good concepts, it's packing suicide doors!
