Jaguar F-Pace: a sexy SUV you actually want to be seen in

The F-Pace is the first ever SUV from Jaguar.

The F-Pace has all the trappings of a sports car, including a supercharged V6 and a snappy eight-speed transmission. 

Under the hood is 380 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque.

Eco, Normal, Dynamic or Rain/Ice/Snow driving modes each have their own throttle programming, shift points and steering feel.

The F-Pace S gets an EPA fuel rating of 18 miles per gallon in the city, 23 miles per gallon on the highway and 20 miles per gallon combined, numbers that matched ours over a week of testing. 

The F-Pace has Jag's Adaptive Dynamics system with continuously variable dampening technology for flat cornering.

The F-Pace can even get dirty. It finished the seven-day off-road Rebelle Rally in 2016 with no problems.

Unfortunately, InControl Touch Pro infotainment system can be a little persnickity.

You can't use voice control to input a destination and there is no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. 

The rotary dial gear shifter can take a bit to get used to.
