Jabra Freeway Bluetooth in-car speakerphone (photos)

The Jabra Freeway surprised us with its large form factor and big sound. We can't illustrate the sound in photos, but we can show you how massive its body is with a few size comparisons.

Here, the Freeway sits next to a 12-ounce soda pop.

The speakerphone is easily larger than the iPhone 4.

The Freeway dwarfs the first-generation Motorola Droid.

We popped the Freeway onto the sun visor of a 2011 BMW M3. The speakerphone takes up a lot of surface area, but its low-profile design means that after a few moments you'll likely forget that it's there.

We spent a good deal of time with the Freeway in this odd orientation: clipped to the edge of our 17-inch laptop monitor. Its sound quality for human voices was fantastic (better even than the laptop's internal speakers), so we ended up using it to listen to quite a few podcasts.

Here we have the Freeway next to a competing model: the Plantronics K100.

The Freeway may occupy roughly 50 percent more surface area than the BlueAnt S4, but its sound quality is easily twice as good.

Though the Freeway houses three speakers beneath its fabric grille, we were only able to locate one pinhole microphone on its chassis.

Out back, a wire visor clip keeps the Freeway lightweight and maintains a slim profile.

We'd gladly trade a few square inches of real estate on our sun visor for the fantastic audio quality that the Jabra Freeway provides. Check out the full review for more details.
