Infiniti QX60 gets a refreshed exterior (pictures)

The 2016 Infiniti QX60 is a comfortable family hauler. Don't expect sportiness.

The QX60 can comfortably seat seven passengers.

Under the hood the Infiniti QX60 gets a 3.5-liter V-6 engine, producing 265 horses and 248 pound-feet of torque.

Want a hybrid? Infiniti has you covered with an optional 2.5-liter supercharged four-cylinder engine working with an electric motor. Together they produce a total of 250 horsepower and 243 pound-feet of torque.

Both the V-6 engine and the hybrid are available in all-wheel drive or standard front-wheel drive.

LED running lights are standard on the Infiniti QX60, but it still sports older HID headlamps.

The shape of the chrome finish around the side window is a nice complement to the rear spoiler.

Chrome. That grille is all about chrome.

18-inch wheels wrapped in all-season rubber are standard on the QX60.

The overabundance of buttons on the center stack takes away from an otherwise well appointed cabin.

Third-row seats are comfortable enough for kids or small adults.

The second-row seats move forward enough to allow access to the third row without needing to remove any child car seats.

The Infiniti QX60 has four driving modes: standard, sport, eco and snow.

The deluxe technology package is pricey but includes adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, backup collision intervention, distance control assist, lane keeping assist and predictive forward collision warning.

The double sunroof design lets the sun shine in, but a full panoramic roof would be a welcome addition.
