Infiniti QX Sport Inspiration concept looks to the future of the brand's design language (pictures)

The QX Sport Inspiration concept debuted at the Beijing Auto Show this week.

It gives us a sneak peek at future design choices for Infiniti's mid-size SUVs.

Many elements you see here will likely appear on the next-generation QX60 and QX70.

The rear has a very coupe-like profile, thanks to a tapered roofline and thin rear glass.

This concept packs more than 9 inches of ground clearance.

The front end keeps Infiniti's large grille while updating many other elements.

Those headlights are positively gorgeous compared with the slightly bulbous units the company currently uses.

A panoramic glass roof spans the length of the vehicle.

The detail on the concept's lights is positively lustworthy.

We're really digging the wheel design, too.

The side mirrors have been replaced with cameras.

The C-pillar, one of Infiniti's design staples, has been redone for this concept.

That Infiniti badge is HUGE.

The interior is about as driver-isolating as it gets. Any more, and there'd be a full partition in there.

Nearly every inch of the interior is covered in soft leather.
