Hellephant 426 Supercharged Mopar crate Hemi engine

The Hellephant 426 crate engine is being displayed both on a plinth and in the engine bay of a custom 1968 Dodge Charger named, appropriately enough, "Super Charger."

Mopar actually built a running stand for the Hellephant 426 to power up on and wow the crowds in Las Vegas.

It's really, really loud.

The engine features an aluminum block with plenty of gusseting for improved strength, forged internals and, of course, a massive 3.0-liter supercharger.

An available engine kit ($2,195) includes includes a preprogrammed powertrain control module (PCM), power distribution center, engine wiring harness, chassis harness, by-wire accelerator pedal, ground jumper, oxygen sensors, charge air temperature sensors, fuel pump control module and cam bus interface.
