Get your fancy-sport on with the Lexus LS 500 F Sport
Whether gas or hybrid, your luxo-barge can be a bit more engaging with the F Sport trim.
If the regular Lexus LS 500 isn't sporty enough for you, perhaps the LS 500 F Sport will be.
It's available on both the LS 500 with the gas V6, as well as the LS 500h with its hybrid-electric powertrain.
Both models receive upgraded aesthetics, including a new grille, new rocker panels and additional trunk trim.
There's also a bunch of F Sport badges, which is par for the course on Lexus F Sport models.
There's also a new set of 20-inch alloy wheels and a paint job unique to the LS F Sport, ultra white.
Opt for the 415-horsepower gas V6, and you can add the F Sport Handling Package, which offers variable-ratio electric power steering, rear-axle steering and a more aggressive air suspension that changes height more rapidly.
The handling package is sadly not available on the LS 500h hybrid, which packs just 295 horsepower.
Lexus gives the interior an extra dose of sportiness with unique front seats with a perforated pattern, along with some aluminum trim and an ultrasuede headliner.
The 2018 Lexus LS 500 F Sport will debut at the 2017 New York Auto Show.
It should go on sale later this year, and pricing is still TBD.
