Ferrari 488 GTB shines in Geneva

GENEVA -- This is it, the new Ferrari 488 GTB!

This is the successor to the wildly successful and hugely engaging 458, a car that many have said is the best Ferrari ever.

The styling on the whole is quite reminiscent of the 458, but everything is exaggerated.

The massive front fascia provides downforce and cooling for the twin-turbo V8.

Massive Ferrari badge, naturally.

Enormous carbon ceramic brakes from Brembo are standard.

Its inset tails are somewhat more sculpted than on the 458.

It's the massive intake in the doors that really sets the car apart from its predecessor.

Long and low, with hulking proportions of the rear hinting at the 660 horsepower on command.

The interior is very driver-focused, like the 458.

All controls fall quickly to reach for the driver.

In fact, the passenger won't have much to do.

A new multi-function display behind the wheel provides navigation and infotainment duties.

LCDs galore.

The 488 GTB enters production soon, and while Ferrari hasn't given us a formal MSRP, look for it to start somewhere north of $230,000 in the US.
