Feast your eyes on the next-generation Jeep Wrangler
The same off-road capability is present in the 2018 Wrangler, but those with a keen eye at this year's Los Angeles Auto Show will notice a few aesthetic changes.
The 2018 Jeep Wrangler is here!
The same legendary Jeep off-road capability is still there, of course, but now there are three powertrains to choose from.
Buyers can now opt for a 2.0-liter turbocharged four cylinder powerplant.
The 3.0-liter V6 EcoDiesel, mated to the eight-speed automatic transmission, will offer 260 horsepower and 442 pound/feet of torque.
If you want a six-speed manual, you'll have to still with the proven 3.6-liter V6 engine.
The doors still come off and the windshield folds down for in-your-face fun.
Jeep gives the 2018 Wrangler in the Sahara trim the option of the new Selec-Trac full-time two speed transfer case, providing full-time four wheel drive as well as a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio.
The most prominent change is the relocation of the turn signals to the front of the fenders.
Still, the round headlights and seven-slotted grill remain.
