Although the E-Tense has a grille, it doesn't have an engine. Instead, the E-Tense uses an electric drivetrain.

DS notes that the E-Tense's lithium-ion battery pack is integrated in the car's floor, while the electric motor sits at the rear axle.

The electric drivetrain produces 402 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque, giving the car a range of 200 miles.

A carbon-fiber body keeps the car light, helping its range.

The small E-Tense only has room for two passengers.

The lack of a rear window would certainly compromise visibility, although as a concept it really doesn't matter.

Despite the electric drivetrain, the E-Tense shows many air intakes, likely to cool batteries and brakes.

The smooth top gives the E-Tense a distinct style.

As the electric motor would not take up much room in the rear, there would likely be luggage space under this canopy.

The rear of the E-Tense shows a carbon fiber diffusor, hinting at its sports car performance.

Paddles at the steering wheel suggest multiple regeneration modes for the electric drivetrain.
