Chevrolet's Silverado High Desert SEMA concept keeps it simple
Featuring a few little additions to an existing product line, this is by far Chevrolet's tamest concept at the SEMA aftermarket trade show.
The High Desert trim adds capability and luxury in equal doses.
The High Desert was actually the first trim to offer magnetorheological suspension on the Silverado.
The SEMA-specific High Desert truck adds a performance exhaust that adds 7 horsepower, bigger brakes, all-weather floor liners and an illuminated bowtie grille emblem. Twenty-two-inch wheels with a bronze finish round out the upgrade list.
It's not a heavy-duty pickup, but it has a heavy-duty presence for sure.
The idea for the light-up Chevrolet bowtie was totally jacked from Mercedes-Benz.
These bronze wheels are rather impressive in person. It should be a factory option.
