Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 is off to the Rebelle Rally
I took a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado to the Rebelle Rally last October. This year, I'm getting an upgrade with the ZR2.

May I present the (hopefully) winning truck of the 2017 Rebelle Rally, the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2.
We recently spent a day around Cougar Buttes near Lucerne Valley, California getting to know the diesel powerplant under the hood.

With front and rear lockers standard we should have no trouble getting to the difficult checkpoints set out by the rally organizers.
The Multimatic shocks keep the ride smooth. It's a risk for Chevy but one that's paying off.
The Goodyear Duratrac tires are on the small side, but thus far have proved their mettle.
It's possible to jump the ZR2, but the Rebelle Rally is not a race for speed. I'll more than likely keep it rubber-side down.
Instead we expect terrain like rocky steps, big dunes and lots of silt.
The 2.8-liter Duramax diesel puts out a very respectable 369 pound-feet of torque.
The ZR2 is has more ground clearance than a regular Colorado and comes standard with skid plates to protect the underbody.
Oh yeah, baby. Front and rear lockers! Scroll through to see more photos of the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2.
