Do you want a Corvette wagon? Callaway's got you covered (pictures)
The aftermarket tuner is offering a replacement hatch for the seventh-generation Corvette and Z06, and it's simply stunning.
Want some additional cargo space in your Corvette? Perhaps Callaway's AeroWagen package will get your mojo flowin'.
Surprisingly, this is a very straightforward modification.
Essentially, Callaway removes the factory hatch and bolts this one into place, no weird fabrication required.
The new top is made from a single piece of carbon fiber.
It comes naked, but it can be painted to match your Corvette if you so choose.
The hatch functions as normal, using all OEM seals, hinges and latches.
This package will work with any seventh-generation Corvette Stingray or Z06.
If you want more power, though, the package also works with Callaway-modified Corvettes.
Installation doesn't start until the fourth quarter of 2016.
If you want the AeroWagen package, you'll have to schlep to Connecticut or California to have it installed at one of Callaway's facilities.
Pricing is not mentioned, but we imagine it won't be cheap at all.
The AeroWagen getup involves no changes to the running gear or interior.
No, you can't fit extra seats in the back.
Callaway didn't measure the extra cargo space, but claims it's "significant."
Man, this thing is cool.
