6.2-liter, supercharged V-8

Caddy starts by dropping the 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 from the Corvette Z06 into the sedan's waiting engine bay.

640 horsepower

In this incarnation, the engine is good for 640 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque.

Big 19-inch wheels are filled with Brembo brakes. Six-piston calipers grip at the front while four-pots stop the rears.

For now, Cadillac is offering the CTS-V only as a sedan. There probably won't be coupe or wagon variants.
