Bentley Bentayga Fly Fishing by Mulliner is the SUV to drive when a river runs through it

Fly fishing is often considered to be the preserve of the rich, if only because of the mounds of costly specialized gear that accompanies practitioners of the pastime. Bentley's new Bentayga Fly Fishing by Mulliner will only serve to further that reputation.

The specialty model's changes aren't readily evident from the outside. As seen here, this Bentayga looks like the same W-12-powered, 187-mph SUV as its non-piscary-focused brethren.

This is what makes the Bentayga Fly Fishing by Mulliner unique. It comes with all of the accoutrements a fly fisherman (or woman) could ever hope for, including a leather-clad tackle station, "refreshment case," and a waterproof storage container for one's waders.

The tackle station includes a Burr Walnut veneer drawer with all of the bits and bobs needed for tying one's own flies, including a vice and tools. When you hook your quarry, there's a pair of landing nets in special leather bags mounted in a side compartment.

Perhaps this angler is headed back to the refreshment station to take a nip of what's in one of three included metal flasks, or maybe a quick nosh on some of the Mulliner china.

No, it appear he's gone back to outfit another of his four fishing rods, found in leather-trimmed tubes stored on the underbelly of the parcel shelf.

The owner of this Bentayga can stride away confidently, knowing that whatever fishy-smelling bits he leaves behind won't smell too funky as there's a built-in electronic dehumidifier back there. Really.

Naturally, all of these fly-fishing cases are removable, presumably for cleaning or when one needs to re-outfit the trunk for hunting season.

No word yet on pricing from Bentley, but with the Bentayga's already massive wait list, you'll have time to save up whatever the extra cost is over and above the standard model's $229,100 base price.

Don't worry, it has to be less expensive than the optional Mulliner Tourbillon dashboard clock by Breitling, right? That self-winding wonder retails at $170,000 all by its lonesome.
