Bentley sent us a release on its latest model news, so we used that as an excuse to post a gallery of photos. In the release, Bentley confirms production dates for the new Brooklands and includes details of its most powerful car yet, the Continental GT Speed, as well as a few tidbits about three other models. And we'll take any prompt to look at pictures of these beautiful cars. They may be pricey, but we can dream. We'll be looking for all of these cars at the upcoming auto shows, including Frankfurt, Tokyo, and Los Angeles.
Bentley brings back its Speed model, originally introduced as a performance version of the 1923 Bentley. For 2008, Bentley hots up the Continental GT by tuning its 12-cylinder engine to pump out 600 horsepower, giving it a 0-to-60-mph time of 4.3 seconds. The car has been lowered and the suspension upgraded to handle the increased performance. The Continental GT Speed will be available in December for just under $200,000.

We saw the concept version of the Brooklands at the Geneva auto show earlier this year. Bentley now confirms this beautiful pillar-less coupe will be available in the first half of 2008. While roomy and luxurious, the Brooklands has serious power, with its twin-turbo V-8 making 530 horsepower and an astounding 774 lb-ft. of torque. Bentley will build only 550 Brooklands and is offering them up at $340,990.

While the base Continental GT keeps the same body style it launched with in 2004, Bentley tuned it for more efficient power use and upgraded the cabin electronics. Bentley claims less CO2 emissions and higher mileage, which is good since the original was rated at 10 mpg in the city and 17 mpg on the highway. The Continental gets a new LCD driver information panel, Sirius satellite radio, and an optional rear-view camera. The 2008 Continental GT will run you $175,990.

With a top speed of 195 mph, Bentley claims the Continental Flying Spur is the world's fastest four-door sedan. For 2008, this car gets some of the same electronics upgrades as the Continental GT, including the LCD driver information panel, a Bluetooth hands-free cell phone system that's compatible with more phones than was the previous version, and the optional back-up camera. The car comes in at the low, low price--for a Bentley--of $170,990.

Bentley launched its Continental GTC convertible in November of 2006, so it's not due for a major upgrade. But like the other Continentals, its cabin electronics get upgraded with the new LCD, Sirius satellite radio, and the upgraded Bluetooth system. The 2008 Continental GTC convertible goes for $193,990.
