This is the 2015 Shelby GT350R Mustang.
If the Mustang GT isn't enough, you'll want the Shelby GT350. If that isn't enough, there's the GT350R.
The GT350R is an extreme, track-focused version of the Shelby GT350.
It sheds 130 pounds over the stock car, thanks in large part to carbon fiber wheels, a first for a production car.
Weight is also saved by ditching the rear seats, the air conditioning and even the stereo.
However, buyers can opt to add in much of those creature comforts if they like.
Exposed carbon fiber is certainly in abundance.
The carbon wheels have a lovely, matte look.
This GT350R is wearing the metallic blue that all of Ford's concepts this year wore, but expect some other shades of blue and white to be offered.
The large wing on the back has plenty of presence.
Headlights, too, with the iconic stacked bars make a solid impression.
"Menacing" certainly seems appropriate.
The Shelby GT350R hits dealers later this year. Price? Unknown as of yet.
