A look inside Honda's 3D-printed car
A car, from a printer? It's more likely than you think.
This kind of detailed design would be difficult to produce in any other way than 3D printing.
Especially on the rear deck-lid.

The car was designed for a cookie company, so there's plenty of room for delicious sweets in the back.
Some parts were filled and polished, others were left fairly raw.
Certain details like headlights and trim were of course manufactured using more traditional means, but the bulk of the shape you see came out of a Stratasys printer.
Most of the body, anyway.
Okay, it's not an actual 3D-printed car, but the body was.
