Its wild styling was previewed by a concept last year.
The XM is slightly shorter than the X7 on which it's based.
23-inch wheels are standard.
The XM pairs a twin-turbo V8 with an electric motor.
Total output is 644 hp and 590 lb-ft.
The interior is available with vintage-look leather.
The sculptural headliner is surrounded by LEDs.
The XM will start at $159,995 when it goes on sale late this year.
