2022 Hyundai Veloster N: Speed Demon

The high-performance N trim is the only version of the Hyundai Veloster you can get for 2022. 

It may remind you of the Korean Air livery, but this lovely paint color is called Performance Blue.

The Veloster is one of the most asymmetrical cars you can buy, with one long door on the left side and two shorter ones on the right.

Motivation is provided by a giant-slaying 2.0-liter turbo-four that delivers a respectable 275 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.  

This engine sounds pretty good when the active exhaust system is fully uncorked, which you can adjust to suit your mood. 

The Veloster N's interior is solid but rather workaday.

Likewise, the infotainment system is simple but highly functional. 

The front bucket seats provide plenty of support, too much for your upper back, in fact.

Two transmissions are offered in this hot hatchback, either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic.
