2022 BMW M4 Competition xDrive: Bavarian cruise missile

The 2022 BMW M4 Competition xDrive is the most potent member of the M4 range.

Yep, this car still has a huge schnoz. 

Aside from that gaping grille, the M4 is a pretty handsome coupe. 

This car's interior is nicely built and surprisingly roomy. 

There's more headroom and legroom in the backseat than you'd probably expect. 

The $3,800 M carbon bucket seat options package includes unique front chairs with hard carbon fiber on their backs. This is less than ideal for passengers. 

A turbocharged 3.0-liter I6 provides the firepower, 503 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque.

There's a surprising amount of surfacing on the M4's front end. 

iDrive 7 is super-responsive, but it's not the easiest infotainment system to use.
