2021 Triumph Tiger 850 Sport: Fewer features, still fun
Triumph's entry-level adventure bike shaves some tech and some power off of its bigger brother, but is it still worth buying?
Triumph's Tiger has always been a great road-focused adventure bike.
Now, though, Triumph is hoping to make it more accessible to more riders with the 850 Sport.
It's doing this by taking some of the more expensive tech and a bit of power out of the Tiger 900.
The 850 Sport still gets a great three-cylinder engine and a competent chassis.
It even gets a fancy TFT dash.
It lacks the sophisticated ABS and traction control of its bigger brother though.
It also lacks programmable ride modes.
The result is a slightly less compelling package, even at its slightly reduced price.
It would still make a great first bike for a larger rider.
And it's likely to be an excellent companion for longer road trips.
