2020 Kia Soul: A lovable oddball
With revamped front and rear fascias, the quirky box on wheels is perfectly unorthodox.
2020 marks the third generation of the lovable Kia Soul.
This box-on-wheels has proven to be a popular little crossover, loaded with plenty of style and value.
This is the X-Line trim, complete with tough-looking body cladding.
Unique 18-inch wheels are also present on the X-Line trim.
While a turbocharged engine is available on the top trim, here we have a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder power plant, putting out 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque.
The new front fascia goes a little squinty, but it's still pretty cute.
Around back the floating center panel remains, along with vertical tail lights.
The Kia Soul is only offered in front-wheel drive, so those in colder climes who may desire all-wheel drive should look elsewhere.
Behind the rear seats is 23.4 cubic feet of space, but fold the back seats flat and that area expands to a whopping 62.1 cubes.
The 2020 Kia Soul starts at under $18,000. This X-Line here is right around $21,500.
