The Ford Explorer heads into its sixth generation in 2020 and includes a new ST model.
The ST is for those who want a little more muscle in their family crossover.
Under the hood is a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine putting out 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque.
Power goes down to all four wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The all-wheel drive system is rear-biased, sending power to the front only under heavy acceleration or when otherwise needed for traction.
The sixth-gen Explorer takes an evolutionary step forward in terms of design, with a sloped roofline, some more pronounced body sculpting and a six-inch longer wheelbase.

The ST gets the Ford Co-Pilot 360 Assist Plus package standard, which gets you adaptive cruise control with lane-centering tech and evasive steering assist.
