2020 Toyota Yaris Sedan ditches its Scion roots

The new Yaris will be available in three trims, L, LE and XLE.

Under the hood is a 1.5-liter four cylinder engine, good for 106 horsepower and 103 pound-feet of torque.

Say goodbye to the old Yaris iA and hello to the 2020 Yaris sedan.

Toyota claims the 2020 Yaris paired with the automatic transmission has a fuel rating of 40 miles per gallon on the highway.

The top XLE trim will get automatic LED headlights.

The 2020 Yaris sedan is on sale now. 

The 2020 Yaris will come standard with a six-speed manual transmission. A six-speed automatic is optional.

An HVAC system with automatic climate control is standard on the XLE trim.

A seven-inch touchscreen is standard across all trim lines. 

The Yaris has a low-speed pre-collision system to help avoid forward collisions, but other driver's aids are absent.
