The 2019 Toyota Camry gets standard Apple CarPlay
In addition to offering one of the best bundles of standard driver-assistance features, the 2019 Camry is a little more tech-laden for 2019.
The eighth-generation Toyota Camry enters its second model year for 2019.
Not much is new except for one important additional standard feature: Apple CarPlay.
The Toyota Camry is yet to offer Android Auto compatibility.
Base prices for the best-selling midsize sedan range from $23,845 to $34,600.
The Camry comes standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. A 3.5-liter V6 is available with 301 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque.
There's plenty of room inside the Camry for up to five passengers. Standard 4G LTE Wi-Fi can power up to five devices.
Cargo volume is a respectable 15.1 cubic feet, but several competitors offer 16 cubic feet or more.
The base four-cylinder Camry returns an EPA-estimated 29 miles per gallon city and 41 mpg highway. The top-tier V6 model gets 22/32 mpg.
All Camrys come standard with adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking, lane-keep assist and automatic high beams.
