If you want to feel special, there is no better car than a Rolls-Royce.
Rolls-Royce made an SUV, called it the Cullinan and gave it to me for a week to drive.
The Cullinan is the first SUV from Rolls-Royce. It may seem like a misnomer but we're seeing uber-SUVs from the likes of Lamborghini and Maserati, and Rolls-Royce is smart to give the luxury treatment to the popular platform.
Under the hood is a 6.75-liter V12 engine pushing out 563 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels.
The Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament pops up when the Cullinan is started.
Forget millionaire doors, these are billionaire doors.
The Cullinan comes with Rolls' Magic Carpet ride. That might be marketing-speak, but I can't think of another way to describe it. Stereoscopic cameras read the road ahead and adjust the air suspension every millisecond.
The EPA gives the Cullinan a rating of 12 miles per gallon in the city, 20 mpg highway and 14 mpg combined. During my time with it I see right around 12.
Inside, owners are treated to leather everywhere, as well as massaging seats and push-button close doors.
All this for a starting price of merely $325,000.
