2018 Toyota Tundra brings the sport
The Tundra undergoes a light refresh for 2018, while also introducing a new trim; TRD Sport.
Toyota will expand the Tundra lineup for the 2018 model year with the addition of a new TRD Sport model.
Toyota will offer it in 4x2 and 4x4 configurations with power coming from a 5.7-liter V8 making 381-horsepower.
To improve handling, Bilstein shock absorbers and upgraded antiroll bars are installed.
For additional visual spice, the truck gets body-colored mirrors, bumpers and hood scoop, a mesh grille, LED headlights and TRD Sport bedside graphics.
The Tundra TRD Sport rides on 20-inch silver aluminum wheels with black accents.
On the inside of the Tundra TRD Sport, upgrades are on the sparse side with only a TRD shift knob and special floor mats.
Exterior colors available on the Tundra TRD Sport include Super White, Magnetic Gray, Midnight Black Pearl, Blazing Blue Pearl and Barcelona Red Metallic.
All 2018 Tundra models will now come standard with the Toyota Safety Sense suite of features including lane-departure alert, pedestrian detection, auto high beams and dynamic cruise control.
All 2018 Tundras will also get new grille and front lighting housings.
The 2018 Toyota Tundra TRD Sport will go on sale in September.
