2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon crouches in wait at NY Show
Undisputed star of this year's New York Auto Show, this street-legal drag car looks ready to pounce.

Dodge brought the latest iteration of its Challenger to the New York auto show, the SRT Demon, an 840-horsepower production muscle car.
On the stand at the show, the car was displayed with its front wheels up in the air, emulating the wheelie it can purportedly do from a fast start.
The SRT Demon makes the 15th iteration of the Challenger, and trumps the Hellcat in power.
The 6.2-liter V8 under the hood uses a supercharger to achieve its tremendous power.
Dodge says the Demon will hit 60 mph in 2.3 seconds, 100 mph in 5.1 seconds and blitz the quarter-mile lights in 9.65 seconds at 140 mph.
Dodge will only sell 3,000 examples of the Demon in the US market, and it will come to dealers this fall. However, pricing has not yet been announced.
