2018 BMW 4 Series is ravishing in Snapper Rocks Metallic Blue
While the 4 Series is a fine-looking car in its own right, the extra kick from this optional metallic blue paint makes it stand out from the crowd.
The 2018 BMW 4 Series gets a few tweaks, but they'll probably go unnoticed by all but the most rabid of Bimmer fans. It's largely the same car we saw last year.
It's available with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic, in all-wheel or rear-wheel drive. Two different engine options are on tap and it is also offered as a coupe, convertible or gran coupe.
The 430i shown here is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with 248 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.
A larger 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine is offered in the 440i, putting out 320 horses and 330 pound-feet of torque.
The run-flat tires are made of harder rubber and contribute to a harsher than necessary ride.
New this year are stiffer roll bars in the front and rear, resulting in a nimble little pocket rocket that tucks right into turns.
Inside the 4 Series is an all-modern design with leather and metallic highlights.
BMW's idea of luxury is a clean, modern look. Nothing is over the top in this coupe.
Apple CarPlay is optional, for a hefty price. Android Auto is not available at all.
The 2018 BMW 4 Series featured here comes out to $52,695. Keep scrolling for more photos of this German sports coupe.
