2017 Toyota Corolla: The old standby celebrates a major milestone
Yep, it's been 50 years since the Corolla first graced US shores, and the 50th Anniversary Special Edition is the perfect way to celebrate.

It's tough to tell but the 2017 Toyota Corolla got a refresh this year, in honor of its 50th birthday here in the US.
All the changes are in the front. The Corolla sports LED headlamps and a new grille for 2017.
This Black Cherry Pearl paint is only available on the 50th Anniversary Special Edition Corolla.
Toyota Safety Sense is standard across all trim lines, offering lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control.
Oooooh... special!
The 1.8-liter engine is good for 132 horsepower and 128 pound-feet of torque.
A bit of the Black Cherry color makes its way to the inside of the 50th Anniversary Special Edition.
The seats may not look like much but they are pretty comfortable for long commutes.

Integrated navigation is only available on the top-of-the-line XSE model. Other trim lines get connected navigation using the third-party app Scout GPS.
